Warrens Bakery Opens in Yelverton

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our newest Warrens Bakery store, right in the heart of Yelverton! As the oldest Cornish pasty maker in the world, every new store marks an exciting step in our journey — and this one is no exception.

Grand Opening Celebration

On Monday 19th August, our Assistant Retail Director, Craig Wood, officially opened the Yelverton store, bringing 10 brand-new jobs to the local community. To celebrate, we’re spreading the joy with free product vouchers for residents throughout opening week.

Craig shared his excitement:

“We’re delighted to open our newest bakery in Yelverton. It’s a fantastic milestone in our expansion and we’re proud to bring our handcrafted, traditional and innovative bakes to even more people.”

Local Perks & Community Support

The new store is open seven days a week with parking available out front — making it easier than ever to grab your favourite Cornish treats. We’re also proud to support Too Good To Go to help reduce food waste, and we’ll be offering end-of-day discounts for nearby residents.

Even better, our digital rewards app is now live in Yelverton — the first of its kind from any pasty retailer in England. Customers can enjoy savings of over £100 per year through exclusive discounts and a points-based rewards system.

Giving Back to Yelverton

We’re more than a bakery — we’re part of the fabric of Cornish life. That’s why we’re launching outreach projects with local schools and community groups, to keep our values of kindness, craft and connection alive.

Since our beginnings in 1860, we’ve taken pride in crafting fresh, flavourful food with provenance and purpose — from our iconic pasties to artisan bread, bean-to-cup coffee, and morning pastries. Yelverton, we can’t wait to serve you.
