Warrens Bakery Opens in Slough Station

We’re proud to announce the arrival of Warrens Bakery Slough—our newest location and the latest milestone in our journey to bring handcrafted Cornish baking to communities far and wide.

Nestled on Platform Five at Slough Station, the store officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting led by GWR Station Manager Mian Sarwar, our Deputy Head of Travel Shane Duheaume, and Shop Manager Christabelle Rodrigues. This marks our 39th store across the West Country, South Wales, and the South East—and we’re just getting warmed up.

After the success of our recent openings at Bath Spa and Basingstoke, Slough signals a new chapter in our expansion into the travel sector. Our goal? To fill station platforms with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pasties, sweet treats, savouries, and bean-to-cup coffee—a little slice of Cornwall for commuters and day-trippers alike.

“Expanding into Slough is another milestone for Warrens Bakery,” says Katie Anderson, Head of Travel. “We’re excited to welcome new customers with our traditional and innovative baked goods, and proud to have created six new jobs for the local community.”

Since 1860, Warrens Bakery has stood for provenance, craft, and flavour—offering everything from breakfast pastries and sandwiches to our world-famous Cornish pasties and West Country delicacies. With each store we open, we bring the same commitment to quality and community spirit that’s made us a beloved name across the region.

So whether you’re catching the morning train or passing through with time to spare, pop by Warrens Bakery Slough and let your journey begin with something warm, flaky, and unmistakably Cornish.
