Here at Warrens Bakery, community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why this week we’re honoured to be supporting Hearts Together, an incredible charity based in Plymouth that’s making a real difference for families and patients across the region.
💖 What is Hearts Together?
Hearts Together is a wonderful charity dedicated to providing accommodation and wrap-around support for patients, carers and relatives when they or a loved one are receiving treatment at local hospitals.
From counselling and peer support to wellbeing workshops and fundraising events, this charity has become a lifeline for so many people navigating difficult journeys with courage and community spirit. Their mission is all about connection, resilience, and hope and that ties beautifully into everything we value at Warrens.
Wear It Red Week at Derriford Hospital
This week, Hearts Together are hosting Wear It Red Week at Derriford Hospital, a vibrant and heartfelt campaign to raise awareness and funds to support patients, carers and families while they or a loved one are receiving treatment. People across the hospital and local community are donning red clothing, sharing smiles (and a few laughs too), and showing incredible solidarity for a cause that supports people during some of life’s most challenging moments.

How We’re Helping
All week long, a portion of the proceeds from selected bakery items at Derriford Hospital will be donated to Hearts Together to support their vital work. Whether you’re picking up a morning coffee, sharing a slice with friends, or treating someone special, you’re helping us bake a difference in people’s lives.
We’ll also be brightening up our uniform with red badges and sharing stories to spread awareness of the amazing support Hearts Together offers to families in our community.
