Our retail shop in Torquay requires a Part Time Permanent Assistant Store Manager to work 24-29 hours per week. You will be part of a store team that thrives on serving and selling affordable, fresh, locally sourced products to our customers. Join one of our high performing shops.
Our store is open 7 days a week so we would love you to be available to work over the weekends and working over lunchtime when our customers need us the most.
What’s in it for me?
You’ll work under the direction of the Store Manager supporting them in the day to day running of the shop and deputising for the Manager during their absence.
Duties will include:
The successful applicant should be a self starter who can support the shop manager in motivating and training staff to the highest standard. A background in food retail is desirable with previous supervisory experience, but training can be given. This is a hands on position and involves manual handling, bake-off of product from the oven, cash handling, banking and is a key holder position.
