Our pasties are delivered either part-baked, or frozen depending on your order.
Part-Baked Pasties
Part-baked pasties need to be finished off in the oven before you eat them.
We recommend that you refrigerate your part-baked pasties between 2 and 5 °C as soon as possible. If you do refrigerate your part-baked pasties, they should be eaten within 24hrs.
If you wish to freeze your part-baked pasties, they should be frozen on the day of delivery. Please defrost thoroughly before cooking, and use within three months.
Frozen Pasties
Frozen Pasties need to be put in your freezer on the day of delivery, and used within three months. Frozen Pasties can be cooked from frozen.
You can enjoy your pasties hot or cold once baked at home.
Part-Baked Pasties:
To finish off your Warrens Bakery Pasty*, just place it on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 180- 200°C (350-400°F or Gas Mark 6) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
*If you have frozen your part-baked pasties on delivery, please defrost thoroughly before cooking.
Frozen Pasties:
If your pasties were delivered frozen and you have put them in the freezer, you can cook them from frozen.
We suggest giving the pastry an egg or milk wash (optional). Place it on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 180- 200°C (350-400°F or Gas Mark 6) and baking for 40-50 minutes.
NOTE Remember, over temperatures do vary and our baking time is based on the average oven.
We do not recommend heating pasties in the microwave.
